change of title name

ive put in a priceless section, and i have done the same in ted dibiase jr a manu Kalajan (talk) 15:05, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why? They've never been announced to the ring as "Priceless". It's always been "Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes". I'm changing it back per that reason. ♥NiciVampireHeart15:07, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Now I've changed to The Legacy, its official Kalajan (talk) 15:10, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ah! I was going to start up my own discussion on this topic but it seems its already started. I have had the same dispute war with NiciVampire. She seems dead set upon not having the name of the stable in the article despite the fact that I have sourced this in the past. Simply having the name of the stable is more appropriate as it is a shorter, simpler name than all the names of the wrestlers. I have no idea why the editor remains so stubborn in her editing style in relation to this edit. Cheers dude (talk) 09:32, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Per my reason above. They've never been announced to the ring as "Priceless". It's always been "Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes" or vice versa. Also, might I suggest that you talk to me on my talk page if you have a problem with my editing style? ♥NiciVampireHeart09:41, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're right! I haven't heard Lilian Garcia introduce this team as 'Priceless' upon their arrival. However, I have heard the announcer's refer to the team as Priceless numerous times. Also, at the Slammy Awards, when they were announcing each team, they referred to them as Priceless. Thoughts? Cheers dude (talk) 09:48, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(ec)And another thing. "wrestlinginc" is not a reliable source, and I have removed it, and the info it was sourcing accordingly. ♥NiciVampireHeart09:50, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I would be more inclined to go with what they are announced as, rather than what the announcers call them. It would be, to me, more official. ♥NiciVampireHeart09:51, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NiciVampire, your behavior has been erratic and stubborn in regards to this edit. You've already gone and put in sources for the edit that made you happy [1], yet you again revert the information a couple minutes later [2] per your remark that you think the announcer's comment is more official without finishing this discussion. Right now 2 editors disagree with you -- really three as that edit was originally Priceless until you came and reverted it to having all the names a couple weeks back. Having a bunch of names in there looks sloppy. Priceless and Legacy is much less sloppy. The WWE commentators have called this Team Priceless several times as well as the Slammy Award announcement last week. Cheers dude (talk) 10:05, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That edit to me adding in sources was for them winning the tag team championships. It has nothing to do with the name of the tag team. I fail to see how my editing has been erratic. I repeat "wrestlinginc" is not a reliable source. It will be removed. I will not revert you again, because I will violate WP:3RR. However, if I reverted your edits without finishsing this discussion then so did you. Please don't be hypocritical. ♥NiciVampireHeart10:09, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As three people have already inserted this edit into the article and you've been the only one reverting, I'd say you are in the minority. If you'd like, you can initiate a voting process for a consensus to be reached on this issue, but I think it would be much ado over nothing and I doubt anyone would agree to having five wrestler's names (last names included with Randy Orton) as part of the title of a section. Either that or you could always add a [citation needed] noting that you feel the information should be sourced. Cheers dude (talk) 10:18, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

She's not in the minority, this is just not a high traffic page and a lot of WP:PW members hate these kind of back and forths. They have no "official" tag team name, they are Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr. You have no reliable sources which say otherwise. I suggest you all assume good faith and listen to Nici's points, Wikipedia is not a democracy, a hundred editors could be changing it to Priceless and Nic would still be right to change it back. Darrenhusted (talk) 10:23, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Darrenhusted, it's ok if you disagree over an edit but I highly suggest you learn to do so civilly. With regards to this edit you made [3] after commenting here on this talk page, you might want to check out WP:civil. Encouraging users to 'Strangle editors' and 'f-n' is totally uncalled-for and incivil. Cheers dude (talk) 11:01, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't encourage anyone to strangle anyone, I expressed surprise that Nici had held her cool, and in a humourous way, but then you seem to be less concerned with reading comments than editing them. The WWE on its title history page don't call Rhodes and Dibiase [4] [5] "Priceless" so until it is announced at, I don't know, any WWE event, then there is not a reliable source. Even on the Slammy page their names are listed as an explanation. Darrenhusted (talk) 11:14, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think Darren encouraged me to strangle anyone. He seemed to me, to more be suprised that I hadn't strangled anyone, rather than telling me to strangle them. It still also stands that you have not provided a reliable source to back up your end of the argument. ♥NiciVampireHeart11:31, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers Dude, please read WP:NOTVOTE. You can't simply reason "it should be this way because that's how more people want it to be", especially if it goes against set WP policies. And to reiterate, they have not been introduced as Priceless or the Legacy at any event. They are consistently referenced individually. Look at Brian Kendrick and Paul London. Supposedly they were introduced at house shows as the Hooligans. They even had that written on their ring attire at one point. Yet they were never introduced as such on WWE TV.  Hazardous Matt  13:17, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay listen, the whole article should be made "The Legacy" as on www.wwe.com you can find the name almost anywhere, and the alliance with dibiase and manu is all part of the same storyline, ¿You hear? Kalajan 14:56, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request Attention

Someone wrote that the team, whatever it is called, faced Batista and WWE Champion John Cena that is wrong. I don't know why I cannot edit this page so for someone that can, can you please say the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena not WWE Champion. The WWE Champion is Jeff Hardy.

Plz

Done Thanks for pointing that out. ♥NiciVampireHeart13:21, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Entrance themes

Does he still use priceless as an entrance theme although he's in The Legacy?  Kalajan  22:38, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. He used it on Raw this last week. ♥NiciVampireHeart10:16, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay.  Kalajan  14:48, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New Finisher

On Raw, Jerry Lawler pointed out twice that the Rolling Cutter Rhodes uses is called "21 and O" or something like that. --Pavlen (talk) 16:15, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PWI Most Improved

As stated in the 2009 Wrestling Almanac and Book of Facts released by Pro Wrestling Illustrated, Cody Rhodes won the award for Most Improved, not The Miz as previously stated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.62.174.148 (talk) 04:15, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
