I am doing a project for school. I just wanted to know why exactly you modified the photo. For the school project I have to discuss with the editors of Wikipedia. Thanks a lot. [[User:Jmz1902|Jmz1902]] ([[User talk:Jmz1902|talk]]) 11:02, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to my talk page. See the old stuff here in that cool little filing cabinet

CSSP

I supported it at WP:TFAR and replied to the only comment so far. FIngers crossed, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 21:02, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Virginia PR

Dincher, you asked me to reminded you about looking at the Virginia article and its peer review today, and I know Saturday is almost gone, but if you have some time, that would be most cool. Thanks again!--Patrick «» 01:39, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome, thanks for the view. Its funny how you can work on an article for months and never notice something like "uified judicial system." I'll get working on your recommendations real soon!--Patrick «» 04:44, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My Account

Hello, I was looking at the policies for Wikipedia, and got concerned because I forgot to register my e-mail on my user name and forgot the password to an account. When I realised this I went and created my next account(in other words this is my third account). Is there anyway in which those accounts could be deleted (they are BKBOT (Mohilccs), BKLC11). I wanted to bring this to your attention because i did not want to be accused of "sock puppetry." ThanksBK2011 (talk) 15:54, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok thanks. I just was hopoing that it was ok for that (I also believe that the edits were labeled "All in order" (or whatever it says))BK2011 (talk) 16:01, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

County names

Thanks for adding county names! I've been seriously distracted lately, as last weekend was my college graduation, so no help for you from me lately.

As far as which ones I've completed: sorry I don't remember. Perhaps you could look at the county templates' histories, since I change the links when I move the pages. Have you done that for these counties? Nyttend (talk) 02:27, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks :-) Yes, it will definitely be a long process; Omnedon and I took many weeks to move all the Minnesota townships. Again, thanks for help! Nyttend (talk) 11:03, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If there is a central list I will help out too - just let me know, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 00:45, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I will just look at the county navbox histories. I already did Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania (OK, so it has no twps). Ruhrfisch ><>°° 01:21, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Turns out it has a bunch of defunct twps, sigh Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:03, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have any idea how many counties remain to be done? We seem to be making more progress lately :-) Nyttend (talk) 01:22, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I just did Wyoming County - do you fix all redirects (what I did, took a long time) or just double redirects? Ruhrfisch ><>°° 02:12, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks - I fixed all but one redirect (a highway article with a template I did not understand how to fix the link in) Ruhrfisch ><>°° 02:45, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think I can only do one county a day - my patience wears thin. I like the Fizz Keeper - I once took a picture of a Fleaker Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:00, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Glad you like the fleaker - not sure they are even made or for sale any more. My problem was more that once I started I wanted to fix all the redirects - ugh. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:25, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(outdent) Thought I'd let you know that Erie County is done, except for Lawrence Park, Pennsylvania (which, because its a 1st class township, I believe is a special case). Also with the highway articles, if the township is in a |location=, the township can be manually added with a |location_special=. --D.B.talkcontribs 03:37, 24 May 2009 (UTC) [reply]

I'd help with fixing redirects with AWB, but I'll be in the Allegheny National Forest for much of today and tomorrow. --D.B.talkcontribs 13:11, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I was dabing (not sure if that is the correct term for fixing links to disambig pages or even a word) townships in List of places in Pennsylvania: A, while also fixing redirects to townships already moved, and came across some that weren't moved yet and moved them then, so as to not have to come back later to fix the redirect. I should be able to finish the rest of the county eventually (to which I see that you just finished up Susquehanna County). --D.B.talkcontribs 02:03, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
York County, Pennsylvania is done. I swapped out some pix in Worlds End State Park too. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 18:27, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks - if you like one of the other Rock Garden pix (or the old fisherman pic) better, swap them back out. We climbed up through the one crevice (pictured) then ran around on top of the rocks. In all my trips to Worlds End I had never managed to go there before, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 22:04, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar of Diligence

The Barnstar of Diligence
Given with respect and admiration to Dincher - thanks for all of your hard work on Wiki and keep up the great work! Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:03, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You are very welcome - I don't normally watch milestone edits, but I saw this one coming up and wanted to use it to recognize all you do here. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 14:48, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hyner View

Work area for expansion at User:Ruhrfisch/Frog2 Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:03, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I also think we can get it to FA - there is a lot of Geology and the Natrive Americans had the Sinnemahoning Path along the river there. Wallace's book on Native Paths specifically recommends Hyner View for a view of the river valley and path course. There is also a nature preserve / study area next to the park. I am uploading hang glider pix to Commons, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 14:16, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The Big Runaway and Fair Play Men only got as far west as Lock Haven, so I don't think they belong in the article. The Bucktail Brigade did float down the river past the park in 1861, and I would also mention the establishment of Sproul State Forest and Bucktail State Park (which is an IBA and borders the park). I have a few more refs to add to the talk page next. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 15:42, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I will only be online a few more minutes then will be away from my computer most of the rest of the day. Have a good holiday, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 16:21, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I uploaded all the new Hyner View hang gliding pix I thought worth including to Commons - if you think any more should be uploaded, let me know. Are all the state park pix up now? Assume so, just checking, take care, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 17:56, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I was very glad to give credit where credit is due at WP:TFAR. As for Hyner View, I think in some ways fewer sources is easier (as long as you have enough to write something). There are several books with lots on Ricketts Glen - see this Ruhrfisch ><>°° 01:38, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Now they may close it! Have you seen this? Hope it is just threats... Ruhrfisch ><>°° 21:17, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think it is jsut political poker, but worry they might bluff their way into closing it in spite of themselves. At least it gives us a sentence or two to add to the article. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 02:48, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think they pick popular things to threaten for more leverage. Will actually work on the article tomorrow. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 04:23, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Smithton

Waterfalls

I added a bunch of pix of Ricketts Glen on Commons. Have two or three more to add, and found I used the wrong name for the falls under the bridge (Adams is further downstream). Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:16, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I eventually want to get a picture of each of the waterfalls and to identify the two on Commons (plus Mwanner's picture and the other here that are in the article). Found an old history online here with a fair amount on the Ricketts family and the area. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 20:46, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
