Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is an upcoming video game in the Castlevania series. It was originally titled Lords of Shadow with no connection to the Castlevania series.[1] It will be an action adventure game in a fantasy setting in Southern Europe during the Middle Ages. The game is being developed by Mercury Steam to be published by Konami in 2010.[2][3][4] The game was first announced in mid 2008 with a teaser trailer simply as "Lords of Shadow" and spotted a God of War-like enviroment of play. Was later announced as a Castlevania game and confirmed in production by Hideo Kojima at Konami's 2009 E3 Press Conference.

Hideo Kojima will be involved with the title.[5] Television and stage actor, Patrick Stewart, also narrates the game's official trailer.[6]

Gameplay

The game is described as a third person action adventure title with combat and puzzle elements.[1]
