this is all great, but it says absolutely nothing about why this kid decides to go kill himself and take down thousands of people with him. where is the motive? where did he get radicalized? why him and not his brother?
How is the following connected to Hanjour? Someone should add information or this text will be deleted: "On September 10, one of the hijackers was seen by the owner of a strip club in Elizabeth near Newark airport. He had a beer and watched a dancer in a private "VIP" room, where the bar owner watched him through a security camera."
- Agreed, I deleted the text while doing an overhaul of the article Sherurcij 14:19, September 9, 2005 (UTC)
Who put all this info about him?
where are you getting pictures & info the goverment doesn't have???
- Much of the information added to the article has been mine, none of it is particularly original though, being drawn from the 9/11 Commission Report, various media sources following the attacks, and such like that...I'm personally horrible at attributing facts to websites (Since most news sites change archive urls so often, it's frustratingly pointless to link to them), but if you have an issue with any of the photos or information I've provided, by all means be specific and I'll dig out my source :) Sherurcij 14:19, September 9, 2005 (UTC)
Is it known how he immigrated to the United States? It says he arrived, but how?
Dateline NBC sent Katie Couric; John Hockenberry; and Bob Mckeown to Saudi Arabia in August 2002, and apparently showed family photographs of Hanjour on camera, including one of him skiing, while he was living in AZ - wish I could find a copy of that newsreel. Hanjour on Dulles Security Video
9/11 conspiracists point out the obvious difference between the heavier man commonly identified as Hani Hanjour in the Dulles Security video and the Hanjour in many FBI photos. However, I don't think the explanation for this is sinister; rather, the heavier man was mistakenly ID'd as Hanjour and the real Hanjour can be seen in another part of the video. A thin man with the same complexion and hairline can be seen walking to the right in the security video. He is wearing black pants and a white long-sleeved shirt with the strap from his luggage wrapped around his right shoulder. Perhaps a screenshot showing this man should replace or complement the one in the article. -- Huysmantalk 20:49, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Well we don't want to violate WP:NOR, but I personally agree that it's likely just another case of misidentification shrugs, not for us to say though. But I definitely wouldn't suggest replacing the image with somebody else in the lineup who is likely an innocent passenger killed that day. GA delisted
After discussion on Wikipedia:Good article review the article was delisted.
I can't see this page being a good article. Its titles for the paragraphs are just years and the sources aren't even done right. And only 12 lines are sourced. Chaldean 04:40, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- delist per Chaldean. No inline cites in the entire article, only external jumps. Teemu08 23:55, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
- Delist with most of the article apparently unreferenced, this doesn't look very well-referenced at all to me. Homestarmy 00:06, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
- Delist Embedded links need conversions. LuciferMorgan 03:15, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
1998 Freeway Airport
This article says he flew at Freeway Airport in 1998. The Washington Post said that he flew there a month before the attack on 9/11/01. Fair use rationale for Image:HanjiMajedATM.jpg
Image:HanjiMajedATM.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Orphaned references in Hani Hanjour
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Hani Hanjour's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
