Its better not to add it. I know that Japan is one of the major music markets and its really frustrating that it doesnot have a discography page for artists. I appreaciate your help but adding links beside the numbers will simply elongate teh table breadthwise and wee need different links for different songs. <font color="blue">--Legolas</font> (<font color="red">talk</font><font color="green">2</font><font color="orange">me</font>) 16:14, 7 June 2009 (UTC) |

:Well, i;m not sure if this will help but here from billboard.com is Lady Gaga's entire chart history (for singles) on th Japan Hot 100 but you have to click a link for each song/week. http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/esearch/searchResult.jsp?exp=y&Ne=4&inert=25&Ntt=lady+gaga&Ntk=Keyword&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&nor=10&an=bbcom&N=37+4293103708&Ns=FORMATTED_DATE|1#pos25 . maybe i should try to start a discography think for Japan Hot 100, at least for lady gaga. (or for all Western artists that i can find who charted on the JH100) what do you think? Impracticable (talk) 16:19, 7 June 2009 (UTC) |

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Kumi Koda page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Tanaats 13:57, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
You need to find something better to do than vandalize the Kumi Koda page. Take your pathetic Ayumi fandom somewhere else or do everyone a favor and just kill yourself already.
Have a nice day. -XaiTerran 18:37, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Penis, you will be blocked from editing. Kesac 00:29, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
An Automated Message from HagermanBot
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 23:20, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Lanecrawfordayumi.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Lanecrawfordayumi.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Fair use rationale for Image:Ayumi Symbols.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ayumi Symbols.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Seraphimblade Talk to me 19:00, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Koda Kumi Kingdom CD.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Koda Kumi Kingdom CD.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 20:18, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

RE: Ayumi Hamasaki
That's why the main article is there. Look at Namie Amuro's 60s 70s 80s, when it comes to Billboard Japan, legal download can be separated in the article. Also, Oricon can't count it as two separate singles if her label is releasing it as one single - a double A-side. (Moon) and (Sunrise) 02:52, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- We don't actually know that completely. I mean, it is being released with different tracklists and technically different titles. It's not the case as it was with ayaka's "CLAP & LOVE / Why and Why / CLAP & LOVE, since one of them was just the same thing with a new cover and a DVD.
But anyway, I think it is just more useful and much easier to look at it in the previous way and make a note saying that they are part of the same single.
- Although they have different titles and track lists her site lists it as one single Days/GREEN not Days/GREEN and GREEN/Days See here. It really just the cover art as a matter of fact that has the different titles. (Moon) and (Sunrise) 04:28, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- I realize her website counts them as one. But it's like when Utada hikaru used to release her singles in both of the popular formats when she debuted. we don't know if oricon is going to treat it like that. oh but at the moment, this isn't even the point. i think we should make it so that every song that charts on billboard japan is shown on the main discography article. we have the ability to do it easily, so why don't we?
- Just because Billboard Japan and legal downloads separates the two and charts them separately doesn't mean that they should be separated on the discography page. They are one single according to the site and should stay as such. If you want to add the Billboard chart and legal downloads add them in the main article. Speedy deletion of Rule (Ayumi Hamasaki song)
A tag has been placed on Rule (Ayumi Hamasaki song) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. (Moon) and (Sunrise) 20:49, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with File:MihoFukuhara YasashiiAkaCDCover.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:MihoFukuhara YasashiiAkaCDCover.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
