The Chattahoochee and Gulf Railroad (reporting mark CHAT) was a short line railroad operating from 2003 to 2006 between Hilton, Georgia and Dothan, Alabama, on former Central of Georgia Railroad and Norfolk Southern Railway tracks. The CGR was owned by Gulf and Ohio Railways, a holding company that owns several short line railroads. In 2006, the trackage was acquired by Genesee and Wyoming, another holding company, and combined with the H&S Railroad to form the Chattahoochee Bay Railroad.
The CGR had a branch that served Alabama Power Farley Nuclear Power Plant.
At Hilton, Georgia the CGR connected with the Chattahoochee Industrial Railroad (CIRR) and Norfolk Southern's line to Albany, Georgia. The CGR also interchanged with CSX and the Bay Line Railroad at Dothan, Alabama.
