Allegra Huston (1964-) is a writer and editor. She was born in 1964 in London, England. Her mother was the ballerina Enrica "Ricki" Soma who died in an automobile accident when Allegra was four. Her biological father is Viscount John Julius Norwich. Allegra was raised by film-maker John Huston who was married to her mother Enrica. Her siblings include actress Anjelica Huston, actor Danny Huston,Walter Antony "Tony" Huston, Artemis Cooper, and Jason Charles Duff Bede Cooper.[1] She has lived in the UK (London), Ireland, New York, California, Mexico and New Mexico. From 1985 to 1994 Allegra worked in the publishing world in London. After 1994, Allegra worked writing for the film industry, and has been writing freelance articles, screenplays, and editing since 1987. Allegra co-created The Writing Salon with poet James Nave in 2004, which currently hosts writing workshops internationally. Allegra currently resides in Taos, New Mexico, along with her partner Cisco Guevara and their son Rafa.[2][3] Allegra authored a book, titled Love Child: A Memoir of Family Lost and Found, published in April of 2009, by Simon & Schuster.
