Song |
"This One's for the Girls" is the lead single from country singer Martina McBride's Martina album. The song was released to country radio in the summer of 2003 and peaked at #3 on the charts. A remixed version of the song was also a #1 hit on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts. This version remained released only to radio until Playlist: The Very Best of Martina McBride was released in 2008.
The song features backing vocals from McBride's daughters, Delaney and Emma, as well as Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Hillary Linsdey, and Faith Hill.[1]
Girl Authority covered the song for their 2007 album, Road Trip.
Additionally, it was used in promos for the 2003-2004 season of The View.[citation needed]
