Sergio Llull Meliá (born November 15, 1987 in Maó, Menorca, Spain) is a Spanish professional basketball player. He is 1.90 m (6 ft 2 ¾ in) tall. He currently plays with the pro club Real Madrid.

Pro career

Llull began his career playing for the La Salle Maò and CB i Unió Manresana junior clubs as a youth. He made his professional debut with the Spanish ACB League club Bàsquet Manresa during the 2005-06 season. He also played with the Spanish club Finques Olesa that season. He returned to Manresa the next season and joined the big Spanish Euroleague club Real Madrid in 2007. He's expected to declare for the 2009 NBA Draft. He was unexpectedly chosen by the Denver Nuggets at pick 34 in the draft, even when much better players like DeJuan Blair and Sam Young on the board.

As a member of the junior Spanish national basketball team, Llull won the gold medal at the 2004 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship and he won the silver medal at the 2007 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship.
