George Cloy is former professional footballer who played his entire 12 year senior career with Dumfries side Queen of the South F.C. Cloy also played for Kello Rovers, Threave Rovers, Dalbeattie Star and Crichton F.C.[1]

When later interview for the Queen of the South website, George Cloy listed Ted McMinn, Allan Ball, Tommy Bryce, Jimmy Robertson and Chris Balderstone as among the best players that he played beside.[1]

Cloy is currently a coach at Abbey Vale FC.[1]
