Matt Prodger is a reporter for the BBC. He is currently based in the United Kingdom as a news correspondent. Until 2006 he was a World affairs correspondent specialising in foreign affairs, and was commonly found reporting on major events across the world. His reports can be seen or heard on BBC London 94.9, BBC World Service radio, BBC World News, BBC News, BBC Breakfast, BBC One, BBC4's The World, BBC Radio 4, BBC News Online and 5Live

He was born in Bristol, but brought up in the Gulf, then moving to Scotland where he attended Banchory Academy.
