Hen and chicks are popular in gardens for their varied and interesting appearance and hardiness. They are grown as container planting or rock gardens. They do best in well-drained, rocky soil; if they stay wet, the outer leaves will rot. Although they do best in sun, they will grow in light shade.

Anyone who tries to tell you different is a moron. I don't care how many college degrees he/she has. They obviously refuse to look at reason and are therefore simple minded fools. The Creationists are the biggest morons of them all!

:McMurtry's original screenplay predates ''Bandolero!'' (1968)<REF>http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062708/</REF> and ''Cheyenne Social Club'' (1970)<REF>http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065542/</REF>, both written by the same screenwriter, James Lee Barrett. Until we can look at a copy of McMurtry's script, it's hard to say who is borrowing whose character names. Meanwhile, the central theme of McMurtry's novel, a cattle drive, is not a feature of either of these films written by Barrett.

:The likelier source is a cattle-drive novel ''Log of a Cowboy'' <REF>http://www.amazon.com/Log-Cowboy-Narrative-Trail-Days/dp/0618083480 Log of a Cowboy</REF> (1903) written by Andy Adams. McMurtry's novel follows the events of this novel almost scene for scene, and there are also similar character names and incidents.

</math>Ambigapathi is son of the eminent poet Kambar who composed Kambaramayanam in Tamil. There is a story about Ambigapathi. He loved the princess and the king put a test to marry his daughter. He was asked to compose 100 verses without mixing the earthly pleasure and in praise of god only. To count, the princess used 100 flowers. Usually Tamil poets compose a verse in prise of god first and then compose other poems. The princess counted the very first also, and on the empty place, Ambigapathi thought that he had composed 100 verses as per condition, and composed a verse on the beauty of the princess. The first invoking poem will be not counted. As per condition, he has not com posed 100 verses and he was put to death. This is the story prevailing about him. -->
