Common names: robber frogs^{[citation needed]}

Strabomantidae is a family of frogs which are native to South America. These frogs lack a free-living larval stage and hatch directly into miniature "froglets".^[1]^[2] Many of these species were formerly named Eleutherodactylus.^{[citation needed]}
