Biography
Reality TV
After moving to Los Angeles, she was hired for a job at Quixote Studios as a receptionist. In 2006, Laguna Beach stars Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag moved into her building to shoot their MTV show The Hills. Audrina became friends with both girls and joined the cast of the series. On May 28, 2009, she confirmed during an interview on On Air with Ryan Seacrest that she will be leaving The Hills to star in her own reality-based program documenting her life outside the Hills. She will leave The Hills as soon as filming wraps on the extra episodes for the fifth season. Her new show, The Audrina Show, will be produced by Mark Burnett and will air on MTV in early 2010.
Acting
Patridge launched her Hollywood career appearing on the hit reality show The Hills and then landed a minor role in Into the Blue 2: The Reef. The movie was released straight to DVD on April 21, 2009.[3]
Patridge has appeared in the TV series Mad TV and Do Not Disturb.
In August 2008, she starred as Megan in Sorority Row. Production was carried out from October 2008 to early 2009. Sorority Row will be released on September 11, 2009.
She also has been linked to roles in A Nightmare On Elm Street and The Silent Killer.
Most recently, Patridge has been acting in Carl's Jr. commercials. [4]
Personal life
Audrina Patridge grew up in Yorba Linda, California. In August 2008, she purchased a house in Los Angeles' Hollywood Dell neighbourhood. On February 22, 2009, Patridge's home was robbed by two unmasked thieves. She posted on her personal website footage taken from her surveillance camera[5] in hopes of the public helping her find the two thieves who stole numerous items from her mansion.
Patridge has had brief flings with Shannon Leto, Philip Bowman, and Brian Drolet. She had a three-year on-and-off relationship with Justin Brescia, another supporting cast member of The Hills. As recently as March 2009, Patridge and Brescia have had to pretend on-camera that they were dating.[6] In May 2009, she was rumoured to be dating actor Chris Pine. On June 4, 2009 he broke up with her. Audrina is now happily dating Australian BMX rider, Corey Bohan.
In March 2008, nude pictures of Audrina were published online. "They were taken when I was just out of high school and beginning to model," Patridge has explained. "I was naïve, overly trusting of people, and inexperienced."[7][8]
Patridge is close friends with Adam Lambert. On April 14, 2009, she blogged about him, saying, "One of the contestants, Adam Lambert, is a close friend of mine and he's one of the most talented and sincere people I know -- he definitely has my vote."[9]
Patridge has recently been involved in an on-air feud with The Hills newcomer Kristin Cavallari, over Cavallari's flirting with Justin Brescia and an argument that took place at Patridge's birthday party.
