Blow is a 2001 drama film about an American cocaine smuggler, directed by Ted Demme (who died of a cocaine related heart attack). David McKenna and Nick Cassavetes translated Bruce Porter's book into the screenplay. It is based on the real-life story of George Jung, Pablo Escobar, Carlos Lehder and the Medellín Cartel.
