Jarvis Moss (born August 3, 1984) is an American football defensive end in the National Football League. Moss was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first round (17th pick) of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football for the Florida Gators.

High school career

He attended Billy Ryan High School in Denton, Texas where he was instrumental in helping the Ryan Raiders win their first 4A State title under Head Coach Joey Florence. He played in the 2003 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

College career

After numerous offers from schools such as the University of Texas, Florida State University and the University of Miami, Moss committed to the University of Florida where he majored in Sociology.

Moss is particularly remembered at the University of Florida for blocking two crucial kicks in the fourth quarter of the Gators' victory over South Carolina. The first block stopped a Gamecock PAT to keep South Carolina's lead at 16-10. The second was a block of a would-be game-winning field goal for South Carolina with 8 seconds left on the clock. The second block secured a 17-16 victory for the Gators. He was named All-America by Pro Football Weekly after the 2006 season.

Moss declared for the 2007 NFL Draft following the Gators' victory in the 2007 BCS National Championship Game.
