No Warning

I had a subscription with them for a couple months and like others said there was just a "please excuse our mess" message for about a week, and now the website doesnt even exist. I'm pissed too because they completely failed to inform me and many other members of this, and they have all our credit card information. Does anyone know what happened to them and if there is going to be a lawsuit filled for failure to inform us?

lack of verifiable webpages

I did some pruning of the rather excessive detail in the 2006 promotional tour section - a (unsourced) long list of cities, and boilerplate press release text didn't seem to add much of substance. Presumably there is an online schedule for this now-historical event if someone wants to track it down and link to it.

I was tempted, as User:Yuser31415 did the other day (diff), to remove some of the external links. If a company throws some sponsorship dollars into regional bicycle racing and creates a separate one page website, does this make it a notable and necessary separate link? - David Oberst 00:12, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was doing some extensive research on their site and several competitors about this company and couldn't find any reference to the vast majority of this information anyway online. I'd be tempted to flag this as being an article that doesn't cite sources, because I couldn't find any information anyway to back up the vast majority of these claims (particularly about membership, stock of titles, distribution centers, etc.) --J.Rai (talk) 20:54, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

no section of this article commenting on criticism?

This is my first post on wikipedia so forgive me if I don't do it right.

Anyway, I used to use gameznflix and rented mostly xbox 360 games. At the beginning things shipped on time. But about 6 months ago, I had several 360 games queued on my account for over a month. I read the xbox.com forums and there were numerous sections debating Gamefly versus Gameznflix. A lot of other people had the same problem as me, extremely long waits for a monthly rental service, suggesting low supply. I am surprised Gamefly has a fair amount of criticism on it's wikipedia page, but Gameznflix does not have any, despite some problems I've experienced along with others. There is a blog I was reading about Here:

http://www.andymerrill.com/rantreview/2007/02/gameflycom-vs-gameznflixcom.html

It summed up what people like me were concluding on the xbox.com forums. 6 months ago there were probably less than 60 retail games, yet there were 2 or 3 highly reviewed games that weren't on the rental list, F.E.A.R. and another one or two that I can't remember. I don't know if Gamefly has every game for all the systems, but I'm pretty sure they have all the games for the next gen systems like the 360, ps3, and the Wii. I will say gameznflix did have some pretty good obscure games that gamefly didn't have for the previous generation, but they didn't at that time have all of the 360 games. Don't know what the situation for either service is now because I quit both of them. But I think most people would like to be kept up to date about these things and if they have been addressed already or if they are in the future, so we can go back to using one of them.

Sorry for the long post, I wanted to shorten it but I had a lot of points to make, I thought they were all relevent to this entry.

Just started a criticism section. Sorry if I eff'ed anything up, I'm kind of new. Effj00 13:57, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Both times when someone added criticisms to the page, they were undone without comment:

This site was shady as hell. I had a subscription with them for like 3 months and I received 1 game in that entire time. They've had that pardon our dust thing for the last month or so and didn't ship out anything. Basically, I think they seriously have like 10 games and just take everyone's money swapping them back and forth between two people. Their "availability" icons are not dynamically updated based on supply, they're just set and stay there forever. Worthless company. Granted 6.75 a month is like 1/3 of gamefly, but in a two week trial with gamefly I got triple the number of games, all of which were new releases. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.188.178.234 (talk) 19:44, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Does someone want to upload this? --4.239.168.62 02:42, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think GameZnFlix has gone belly up. Their site has been down for over 1 week now. Does anyone know the definiate answer on this? Does GNF still exist?

KBG (November 20, 2008)

I think they're done. They had a "We are under construction" on teh website for about a month, and now they're domain seems to be up for grabs.

Looks like someone did grab it, it has a GoDaddy.com placeholder there. Will not be missed.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.188.178.234 (talk) 00:04, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article needs cleanup

This article is very poorly wikified. It has one reference and that link is dead. Contentious comment about "non-payment of hosting charges" with no citation needs to be wikified and sourced. All links are dead. I realize this co is ob, but it the article should remains then it needs help. Otherwise it should be sent to Afd.Jehosaphatz (talk) 04:26, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
