JR Digs is a Canadian television series which airs Friday nights on CH & Sundays on mentv without having an actual network deal. It has aired since June 2001. Since its fourth week on the air, JR Digs has had excellent ratings. Originally, the show only aired on CHCH in Hamilton, Ontario, although in Spring 2003, Global began airing the show nationally before Saturday Night Live. In British Columbia and Ontario, the show aired on CH instead, after MADtv. After a brief cancellation in early 2005, the show was brought back to air in the fall of that year, but only on the three CH stations throughout Canada. On CH Hamilton & CH Vancouver Island, the show is broadcast Friday night @ midnight. On CH Red Deer, the show is broadcast Friday night @ 11:30 PM.
A documentary, filmed by cast member and cameraman Shane Cunningham, is in the works, as well as a movie based on Digs's pursuit of a network deal. The show is primarily developed by JR DIGS (Host / Producer), Shane Cunningham (Camera Operator / Producer) and Branden Bratuhin (Video Editor / Technical Producer).
Recurring segments
- Flapjack Calls - Similar to prank calls, except in this case, telemarketers phone JR hoping to sell him a product or service. Instead, JR turns the tables on them by assuming a different personality and attempting to keep them on the line as long as possible, asking irrelavent questions and pretending to misinterpret the responses given to him. Eventually, the telemarketers realize they've been duped or lose their patience and hang up.
- Me and My Wiener - JR goes out onto the street and catches people off guard by asking if they want to see his wiener. The people to whom he asks this question usually appear confused or disgusted until JR shows them the actual frankfurter to which he was referring.
- On The Bench - JR interviews different people who happen to be sitting on a bench.

Season two
Season three
- The Long Haul - Aired in response to a negative e-mail that JR received from a viewer who disliked the show and suggested that it would probably be funnier if JR videotaped himself on the toilet and aired that as an entire episode.
Season four
- Where's Venice Beach? (original airdate: April 24, 2004) - JR booked a flight to Venice Beach, Florida, where his parents live during the winter, for spring break. Shane and the rest of the crew that work on the show, however, mixed up the states and booked a flight to Venice Beach, California instead. The show alternates between JR's footage, which he shoots with only one video camera at the beach and at a bingo game, and the comparatively more exciting footage filmed by Shane and the others, who manage to get interviews, songs, and humorous script readings on tape.
- JR DIGS: The Movie (original airdate: May 1, 2004) - Among the highlights of the show included more footage of Shane and the others getting actors in Hollywood to read scripts for the JR Digs movie, and JR's crashing of the Gemini Awards where he met up with actors Dave Foley, John Dunsworth, Jonathan Torrens, Cathy Jones, Paul Braunstein, and Krista Sutton; as well as other cast members of Trailer Park Boys. Later in the show, JR searched for Kevin Smith, hoping to see if Smith will direct his movie.
- Venice, Anyone? (original airdate: May 8, 2004) - Featured a 52-minute long flapjack call from a telemarketer who was attempting to sell JR a newspaper subscription. Despite the many times she told JR that the subscription would cost $23.10 a month, a "confused" JR would multiply the wrong numbers prompting her to explain the pricing of the newspaper yet again.
- Cock-a-Doodle Moo (original airdate: May 22, 2004) - Footage from the Agricultural Fair, a taping at Reptile Man's store in Hamilton, and a streeters competition between two teams of two regulars on the show's message board: JJSHORTY83, Wworrall, JRdigswrestlingfan, kenny.
