The Electoral district of Nepean is an electorate of the Victorian Legislative Assembly covering the southern most part of the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. It is named after Point Nepean which is contained within the electorate.
The seat was created prior to the Victorian state election, 2002 after the seat of Dromana was renamed. Traditionally it has been a relatively safe seat for the Liberal Party, although it went within 0.2% of being won by the Labor Party at the 2002 election.
The seat has the oldest median age of any electorate in the state, as well as the lowest average income. [1][2]
The current member for Nepean is Martin Dixon.
