The discography of Ayumi Hamasaki, a Japanese singer, consists of ten original studio albums,[note 1], forty-nine singles,[note 2] five compilation albums, nineteen remix albums, eighteen concert DVDs, and four box sets.
Hamasaki released her first album, Nothing from Nothing (1995), on Nippon Columbia. However, the album did not chart on the Oricon, and the label dropped her. Shortly afterward, Hamasaki signed on to Avex Trax; she released a string of singles in 1998 followed by her first album under Avex, A Song for XX, in 1999. To date, Hamasaki has sold around 75 million records in Asia, 50 million of which are from Japan alone, and is one of Japan's best-selling musicians.

Footnotes
- ^ Oricon does not consider Nothing from Nothing, an album released under Nippon Columbia, as part of Hamasaki's discography.
- ^ Some of Hamasaki's earlier singles were re-released; both Avex and Oricon consider these separate singles. Also, she has released singles in Europe consisting of remixed material. However, she has released 49 original singles of which 46 are in her official discography.
