Mahogany was founded in Michigan ca. 1995 by Andrew Prinz. First releasing the 'Dual-Group' EP, a limited 12" on the Detroit-based Burnt Hair Records, the group received airplay on the John Peel show, and a string of 7" and compilation releases appeared on boutique labels in the UK, Scotland, Italy, and France.
