HMS Basilisk (H11) was a B class destroyer of the British Royal Navy that saw service during World War II.[1] She was sunk off the coast of Dunkirk during Operation Dynamo by German Stuka dive bombers while participating in the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force from France. [2]
