The building will feature a 6-level extension to the Suria KLCC shopping mall and the rest will make up office spaces. Along with the completed Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and the Binjai condominium block, Lot C development falls under Phase 2 of the KLCC project.[1]
Construction
Ground breaking has started since late 2006 and finished in February 2009. In January 2009, KLCCP awarded a RM665mil contract for the main structure to Daewoo Engineering and Construction, which began building the top structure in March 2009.[2]
It is expected the retail mall section will be ready by early 2011, followed by the office block component a year later.
The second crane was installed on 4 July, 2009, while the third crane was installed on 18 July, 2009.
