Spencer Smith
==Early life==
Spencer Smith was born and raised in Summerlin, Nevada. He has two sisters, Crystal and Jackie. He met Ryan Ross at a very young age. When Smith got a drum set for Christmas and Ross a guitar, the two started covering Blink 182 songs together, which lead to them forming a band called "Pet Salamander". [1][2] They soon had Brent Wilson join as well as their friend named Trevor on the guitar to form their first real band, "Summer League".

==Panic! At The Disco==
After their old guitarist Trevor left the band they brought in Brendon Urie to join the band, and so the band changed from "Summer League" to Panic! At the Disco. They sent Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy a link to their PureVolume site through LiveJournal, and he asked them to sign with his Fueled by Ramen imprint label, Decaydance. The band released their first album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, on September 27, 2005. It reached #13 on the US Billboard 200, and has sold over 2.2 million copies worldwide. Their follow-up album, Pretty. Odd. was released on March 25, 2008 and debuted at #2 in the US. The band has a DVD/CD out, ...Live in Chicago.[3] The band is currently working on their third album, but will have to do so without Ryan Ross or Jon Walker, who left the band to pursue other things[4], leaving Smith to be the lone founding member in the band.

==Other==
In 2007, Spencer Smith was given a demo from The Cab at a Cobra Starship/Boys Like Girls/Cartel show. He later helped them sign to Decaydance Records, which was announced on May 16, 2007.[5] Smith, along with bandmate Brendon Urie, appeared in Fall Out Boy's music video, A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me as vampires.[6] He and Brendon Urie will also appear in the music video for What a Catch, Donnie by Fall Out Boy.
