Celebration - The Video Collection is a DVD greatest videos compilation by singer Madonna. Released by Warner Bros. Records on September 29, 2009, the release will accompany the greatest hits Celebration.[1] The collection follows on from her other greatest videos compilations The Immaculate Collection (1990) and The Video Collection 93:99 (1999).
The compilation spans from 1983's "Burning Up" to the 2009 single "Celebration" and includes the controversial videos of "Papa Don't Preach", "Like a Prayer", "Justify My Love" and "Erotica", the latter two having been banned by MTV for sexually provocative themes. [2] It will also include the popular "Ray of Light", which was lauded with the video of the year award at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards.[3]
