Trinity Catholic has become widely known for its impressive sports program. The Trinity football team, the Celtics, have gone to the class 2B championships twice. Both games were played against Pahokee High School. Trinity Catholic won one game 37-30 but suffered a heartbreaking loss the following year. The tennis team has also made it to states many times yet came up empty handed, as is the trend for most of its programs. However, the up and coming lacrosse program has shown considerable promise behind the stick of Malone Locke, one of Ocala's greatest attackmen.
