Yamaki is interested in Japanese anime such as Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, Shakugan no Shana, Suzuka, Kanon, Shuffle!, Tsubasa Chronicle, K-On, Air (visual novel), Detective Conan, Prince of Tennis, Karin, sola, Asatte no Houkou, H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~, Clannad, Kage Kara Mamoru, Welcome to the N.H.K, Full Moon o Sagashite, Digimon series, Nodame Cantabille, Honey & Clover, School Days, Hatsukoi Limited, Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei, School Rumble, Hayate the Combat Butler, 5 Centimeters Per Second, Infinite Ryvius and many others. He doesn't watch Fullmetal Alchemist or Bleach or any Gundam Series.

Music

Yamaki likes to listen to Japanese pop songs. His favourite j-pop singers include KOTOKO, Yui and Yui Makino. He doesn't seem to fancy Ayumi Hamazaki or Utada Hikaru.

He is also into Vocaloid songs.

Games

Online Games

Yamaki has been playing Ragnarok Online the very moment he has been first using the computer. He also plays Survival Project and MapleStory. Once played Gunbound but is now retired from the game.

Console Games

Yamaki believes that good games are also available on the GameBoy Advance. He plays games such as the Pokémon series, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Riviera: The Promised Land, Fire Emblem, Sword of Mana, Final Fantasy V, et cetera.

Recently he has been addicted to his Nintendo DS Lite and has been playing games like Hotel Dusk: Room 215, Lux Pain, Ace Attorney series, Mario Kart DS, Final Fantasy Tactics A2, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, The World Ends With You, Final Fantasy XII, Trace Memory, Pokémon Pearl, Flower, Sun and Rain, et cetera. Hates Nintendogs and Professor Layton.

Politics

He is also interested in listening to Malaysian politics. He believes that a strong opposition is needed in the parliament of Malaysia for a better developing country.

Religion

He is a Catholic Christian, and once served as an altar server in a local church. He is baptised in 1996 and confirmed in 2007.
