Revision as of 21:51, 4 October 2009

Mister Leather Europe (MLE) is a pan European contest of leathermen held annually around October in Europe hosted by a European Confederation of Motorsport Club (ECMC) member club.

MLE contestants must either be the winner of a local or regional ECMC club leather contest. Winners are usually sponsored to attend the International Mister Leather contest in Chicago the following May.

The current titleholder is Pieter Claeys from the Netherlands.

MLE Contest format

The contest comprises of four rounds:-

1. On stage interview

2. Fetish Outfit

3. Fetish show

4. Jock strap round

Scoring

Scoring varies from year to year and is decided by the host club. Generally there is an aggregate score from the judges and the audience. For 2009, the host club, LC Roma have announced that "The Jury is composed by a judge for each Club presenting a Candidate. Each judge will vote all the Candidates but the one sponsored by the Club itself. The votes will go from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest). The public vote will be expressed and turned into a component of the final score for the most voted candidate. It will account for 5.5 and it will be added to the scores received by the Candidate from the Jury. If there is a draw between the First and the Second Runner up, the Jury will vote again only for those two positions of the final ranking. In that case, the vote of the Jury is exclusive and not subject to the audience judgement."
