The Strip is in W. Hollywood, not L.A.

This article should probably be changed to say that the Strip is in West Hollywood, not Los Angeles. I would change it, but I'm afraid it will just be changed back by someone who doesn't know any better, so I wanted to put something on the discussion page first. I've changed all references to the Strip being in Los Angeles to refer to West Hollywood. Mike Dillon 23:44, 9 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Technically, the Strip is not in L.A. But when you're on the Strip, it's a rare and strange person who will tell himself "Hey, we're not in L.A.". Cities like West Hollywood are as a matter of course looked on as part of L.A. It's all LA LA Land. Alexander 007 23:57, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Troubadour

There is a link at the bottom of the page to the Troubadour, but the Troubadour is not on the Sunset Strip. It's on Santa Monica Blvd. Should this link be removed?

Something of a judgement call, I think. It's in the same "strip" of land which was historically LA county, not LA city, and so shares the same historical background; it's also just down the hill, I'd leave it. Doovinator 19:25, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
