Well, I'm not entirely sure what [[WP:plants]] requirements are, but I'm sure it's pretty close, B-class isn't too hard to hit. As for the topic, if you don't like it, pick another! There is an endless number of topics needing editing on wikipedia. Plus the millions of stubs. Take my seahorse for example. There was no article whatsoever, and that shocked the hell out of me. Seriously? No article for the seahorse!? I'm sure you an find a topic that needs writing that interests you. But, if not, you can always take a more mundane job in wikipedia. :: It is great that you are enthusiastic about helping out with dealing with vandalism, but it's important that you not lose site of the main goal, we are here to write an encyclopedia. Not to whack vandals. That's just a side effect of some of our policies (such as not having flagged revisions, for example). We need to remember that vandals are people too, and that getting too militaristic is not a good thing... it's not about purely how many vandals you whacked. Wikipedia is not a military organization, or a MMORPG, or a social club. I hope that helps.
