The Legion of Awkwardness (founder: doctor Jessie Tan) specialises in helping people with this paralysing condition. She said when asked, "Growing up, I was the awkward one in our group of friends. I never felt as cool or as popular as them, even though I realise now, i had astonishingly witty comebacks and a great laugh. I remeber i used to always turn my head while walking because i was afraid to move forward in life. So I discovered the legion to prevent people like me from suffering much."
