In reviewing the article I have found several issues, which I have detailed '''[[Talk:Joffrey Tower/GA1|here]]'''. Since the article falls under the scope of this project, I figured you would be interested in contributing to further improve the article. Palace Hotel, Perth GA Review: on hold
I have reviewed the GAN of Palace Hotel, Perth, and have placed the article on hold. I did the review prior to seeing that the nominating editor had retired, and I figured I'd leave a message here in case editors wanted to assist in fixing the minor issues to help the article reach GA. I will also leave a message on another related WikiProject talk page to get more editors to possibly assist in the workload. The majority of the changes should be easy to fix and shouldn't take too long. If you have any questions let me know on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Happy editing! --Nehrams2020 (talk)
This is a notice to let you know about Article alerts, a fully-automated subscription-based news delivery system designed to notify WikiProjects and Taskforces when articles are entering Articles for deletion, Requests for comment, Peer review and other workflows (full list). The reports are updated on a daily basis, and provide brief summaries of what happened, with relevant links to discussion or results when possible. A certain degree of customization is available; WikiProjects and Taskforces can choose which workflows to include, have individual reports generated for each workflow, have deletion discussion transcluded on the reports, and so on. An example of a customized report can be found here.
If you are already subscribed to Article Alerts, it is now easier to report bugs and request new features. We are also in the process of implementing a "news system", which would let projects know about ongoing discussions on a wikipedia-wide level, and other things of interest. The developers also note that some subscribing WikiProjects and Taskforces use the display=none
parameter, but forget to give a link to their alert page. Your alert page should be located at "Wikipedia:PROJECT-OR-TASKFORCE-HOMEPAGE/Article alerts". Questions and feedback should be left at Wikipedia talk:Article alerts.
Message sent by User:Addbot to all active wiki projects per request, Comments on the message and bot are welcome here.

Architecture journals request
There's a request for copies of articles from 3 architecture journals at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Resource_Exchange/Resource_Request#Architecture_journals; if any member of the project has access to "RIBA Journal" (2002), "Architects' Journal" (1971) or "Building" (1979), please reply there. Thanks, BencherliteTalk 16:35, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry Bencherlite - for future ref, I have AJ's from 1996-97 and 2006-present also AR's from 2006-present - all of which miss your dates - most uni libraries in the uk carry them from way back when. --Joopercoopers (talk) 00:14, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- Oh to still be a student... Thanks anyway. BencherliteTalk 07:07, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Fascist architecture
There are three categories for fascist architecture, Germany Portugal, and Italy. Franco's tomb would certainly qualify. But,,, theses are really just Art Deco buildings. The Art Deco buildings the Italians built in Italy are not different stylistically than the ones they built in Eritrea. I think these categories should be moved from facsist to Art Deco.Historicist (talk) 22:20, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Anyone home? fancy painting the front door?
I wonder if I might trouble you to read this little section on Giano's page about improving the architecture article? I think really what's needed is some input to get a good heading structure, after which I'm fairly confident the article will pretty much write itself - any views or opinions? --Joopercoopers (talk) 20:59, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Doncaster Hill strategy
The Doncaster Hill Strategy is not supported by the Doncaster community. Is there another Municipal council that is trying to reduce householders value of property for the benefit of developers such as Westfield and Pokie King Bruce Mathieson. Also the selling off of pocket parks and support of intense development of the Eastern Golf Course is ridiculous. Walking paths around the steep hills is "Pie in the sky. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.107.188.96 (talk) 04:02, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Architecture Database (geographicaly taged)
What if we could have access to all the buildings that are allready in Wikipedia like in an Architecture Database? I mean, imagine we would like to know all the buildings that exist in a specific city. That happens a lot, when we want to travel. We could use all the information we allready have in a more operative way, organizing it and having access to it geographicaly. Do you think this could be mande inside Wikipedia? Combining this with specific adress or even the coordinates, it could be a real help to all the people here, who for sure like architecture and travelling to see it. We could also have it listed by architect ore by time. Even buildings without article could be there, just with a small reference so you could know it exists and maybe search information about it elsewhere ore later creating an article for it. --Vasco.cortez (talk) 16:34, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Architecture of St. John's - needs attention
I've added to the lede a bit; the comparison to San Francisco is in most guidebooks but I don't have one handy to cite....this page for now is mostly a gallery page or a list-with-pictures....needs actual architectural-history writeup.Skookum1 (talk) 15:07, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

"Interstitial space": a mess
I found a short messy article called "interstitial spaces" (plural), and it surprised me by dealing with architecture rather than with what I thought of as any of the usual meanings of that term. Obviously it was incorrect to use the plural, so I tried to move it to "interstitial space" (singular), but there was already a far more substantial article there, also on architecture. So first I redirected the plural to the singular, wiping out the plural article.
Then some further searching yielded the interstitial disambiguation page, which treated biology and physical and mathematical sciences (i.e. what I think of as the usual meanings of the term "interstitial space", as opposed to the architectural meaning), and did not link to the architecture article.
Then I
- redirected the plural "interstitial spaces" to that disambiguation page,
- moved the architecture article to interstitial space (architecture),
- added the architecture article to the disambiguation page.
The disambiguation page is still in a distinctly suboptimal state.
And interstitial space (architecture) is an orphaned article: nothing links there except the disambiguation page.
If there are topics lists and other articles that should link to it, then get busy.
I originally found the plurally-title "interstitial spaces" article by following a link that made me expect biology, not architecture. So these articles have been neglected. Michael Hardy (talk) 18:54, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Dome
The Dome article could use some attention. I have been trying to improve it virtually alone for the past few months, and I've made progress, but my knowledge on the subject has petered out and my interest has started to lag. I'm sure there are others editors here who can take it to the next level. AmateurEditor (talk) 05:30, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
