The Capo is a television series made by FoxTelecolombia and written by Gustavo Bolivar for RCN Television , based on its namesake book. This is the most expensive series ever produced in the country, which has a bunker itself, and expensive props, like a virgin all of gold, it is estimated that the series cost about 18 billion pesos colombianos. This is the story of Pedro Pablo León Jaramillo, a man who by necessity, chance and ambition becomes richer and more drug trafficker wanted by the authorities. Capo This is the most silent strategist of all time, but inadvertently created a circle around betrayals, loves and hates that he himself can control. The story had become an obsession for Bolivar, write in first person, was based on what he would do if he were a boss, also having a lengthy investigation, including direct contact with other drug traffickers in prison.

Marlon Moreno as Pedro Pablo León Jaramillo(El Capo): Is the most wanted drug lord in history, achieving win up to twenty billion dollars of their illegal businesses.

Katherine Velez as Isabel Cristina: Is married to the boss, has been with 30 years of love and innocence, despite all their tricks.

Marcela Mar as Marcela Lievano: Is a journalist, his lust for power led her to seek an interview with the boss, which he believed would afford him great recognition and fame and became his lover.

Plot

A bunker built by the same boss, Pedro Pablo "El Capo", where he, his wife Isabel Cristina, her lover Marcela and four of his men Nancho brother, Chemo, Perrys and Tato, are hidden, to escape from the army. Inside the bunker a cellphone is filtered and the phone receive a call, this is intercepted by a spy plane from which gives the order to keep operating. Outside the bunker,holding together a large military squad, camouflaged among the military, fiscal Grisales, which is actually an infiltrator from the Capo. On the bunker the Capo monitored the outside thanks to a closed system of chambers and the prosecutor's reports, there are also recreated a series of flashbacks, which talk about how Pedro Pablo became rich, as how he met Marcela. Outside the bunker, the military discover something very rare in the lake for what they decide to attack drawing the animals that lived in the place cause of this animal rights groups and journalists on the scene, including the camouflaged son of Capo, Juan Carlos. Marcela gets out of the bunker and meets with Juan Carlos and return to the bunker with he, two bombs were drop in the bunker, causing damages. Finally, the Capo and his accomplices get out of the bunker and move to a farm, leaving the injured Tato, the army capture Tato meanwhile Isabel and Juan Carlos returned to the city where they meet with Julieta. Juliet and John Carlos reveal to their spouses his true and true identity of his father, while Pedro tells his story to Marcela. Nancho persuades a terminally ill AIDS, named "El Moro" from driving a car bomb to the Senate in exchange for 200 million pesos for his family. After they steal the body of Juan Carlos, Pedro Pablo's son. Capo and his men met in the caves, unaware that soldiers are following them, cause Julieta had told everything to her husband's family. Minister Olguín with general Sarmiento and general Moncada lead a raid without president's permission. Near in caves, grieving his deceased son, cursing God,they enter to the cave, while the Don's family and the Minister are in prison. At that same moment, the minister is removed also Moncada, Sarmiento, and a lieutenant, President stated as Capo infiltrators. Juan Carlos veil in the caves, remembering old times. The military prepares to attack, but the Minister orders that have open fire. At that time, the Ministry works independently, and goes into the caves in search of Capo. When found he, make the passes, León promise to find a solution to his family problems. When the military were found, there was a clash between the military against Chemo and Perrys and the others left the cave entering in secret exit through a waterfall.
