The Atlantis Fritillary (Speyeria atlantis) is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family of North America. It is common from Alberta west to maritime Canadian provinces and northern American states. It resides as far north as James Bay. Upperside is dark orange with many rows of black markings and black wing margins. Underside is a light brown with many silvery-white spots. Wingspan ranges from 50 to 64 mm.[1][2]
