The 2009 Rostelecom Cup will be the Cup of Russia Grand Prix competition of the 2009–2010 figure skating season. It will be the second event of six in the 2009–2010 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. Skaters will earn points towards qualifying for the 2009–2010 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final. The event will be organized by the Figure Skating Federation of Russia. Medals will be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The event was renamed the Rostelecom Cup in 2009 after Rostelecom, its sponsor. It will be held in Moscow from 22 October through 25 October.

Competition notes

The compulsory dance will be the Tango Romantica.
