The Massachusetts Animal Rights Coalition, or MARC, is a nonprofit volunteer-run animal rights organization based in Massachusetts with over 500 members that works to end the suffering of all animals. MARC was founded by Helen and Steve Rayshick. MARC focuses on eliminating the suffering of food animals, animals in laboratories and entertainment, companion animals, fur animals, and wildlife.

Activities

MARC works toward accomplishing its goals through peaceful protests, letter writing campaigns, providing information for the media, testifying at government hearings, and tabling at events among others.
