Calderys is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Imerys, its French multinational parent company, and the world leader in monolithic refractories.

History

Calderys was only recently formed by a merger of Plibrico (a subsidiary of the Imerys group) and Lafarge Refractories in 2005. Due to both companies having a longstanding history in the refractory business, Calderys has been able to tap into over 100 years of experience—which makes their technological expertise, innovative concepts, and ability to provide exemplary services to their customers second to none.[1]
