The Cal-P Line is a railroad line that is located between Martinez and Sacramento, California.
It hosts a number of Amtrak passenger trains, such as the Capitol Corridor, Coast Starlight, and California Zephyr. The line was originally built by the California Pacific Railroad (Cal-P). The Cal-P was purchased by the Southern Pacific Railroad (SP) which was eventually purchased by the Union Pacific Railroad (UP), the line's current owner. UP operates numerous freight trains over the route.
