Maureen Holloway is a Canadian radio personality, entertainer and comedian.
She is best known for her celebrity gossip on The Last Word. Broadcast live every morning in consecutive segments from coast-to-coast, the popular segment features Holloway with hosts of some of the country’s biggest morning shows. These include;
- Derringer In The Morning on Q107 (Toronto)
- Wheeler and Hal on Power 97 (Winnipeg)
- Aaron, Tasso, and Suzanne morning show on Q92 (Montreal)
- Brother Jake at Rock 101 (Vancouver)
- The Q107 Morning Show on Q107 (Toronto)
- Gary James and J'Lyn on "The Joe Show" at JOE FM (Edmonton)
- The Ben & Kerry Show at Y108 (Hamilton)
- B.J. and the Q Morning Crew on Q104 (Halifax)
- McArthur In The Morning on 103.9 THE HAWK (Woodstock, Ontario)
In addition, she writes a weekday blog, featured on these radio stations' web sites, called More Mo. The blog is a whimsical look at events that happen to her in her daily life, with an emphasis on humour and exaggeration. Holloway has had a twenty-year career in radio, starting out as a traffic reporter for Mix FM in Toronto. She has also had forays into television: hosting the Genie nominated The Dish Show on The Comedy Network, reviewing video releases for Flick on the Life Network, and providing gossip segments to Canada AM and eNow.
In 2006, she won the Canadian Association of Broadcaster's Gold Ribbon Award for Humour.
