Aljazeera.com is a London-based Middle East news website owned by Aljazeera Publishing. It bears no relation to the better-known Qatar-based satellite channel, Al Jazeera (as it states on its "about us" page). However, it has frequently been mistaken for it; relatively prominent cases include Instapundit (July 30, 2003) and Oxfam (Cool Planet links[1]). Aljazeera.com's editorial policy is stridently Islamist and anti-Western, in contrast to Aljazeera TV. It describes itself as follows:

Aljazeera.com - which also has a print edition - claims to present the facts. However, articles are mostly op-ed with many describing the Holocaust as a myth. While the site allows comments these are subject to approval and possible editing.
