Margaret Mead Junior High is a two year junior high school located in [[Elk Grove Village]], Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois. It's a part of school district 54 which includes many other junior highs and elementary school. Students from Mead Junior High mostly advance to [[Conant High School]] in Hoffman Estates, but some may also go to [[Fremd High School]], [[Schaumburg High School]], or others. The colors for Mead are green, black, and white, and the mascot is a mustang. They have a noted magnet program with classes in social studies, language arts, and science. The magnet program starts in 3rd grade (at Campanelli Elementary) but may enter at any time within the 3rd-8th school years. Their wrestling and volleyball teams have won the championships this school year 2007-2008. Furthermore, the 7th grade boys basketball team won the District 54 Tournament in the 08-09 school year |

They have many classes from electives. Which include Spanish, band, life skills, music, art and many more. There are also a very large amount of afterschool clubs to join. There is newspaper, bocci ball, gaelic football, photo club, drama, improv, art club, and various other clubs for you to participate in. |
