Cambodia is subdivided into 20 provinces (ខេត្ត = khet) and 4 province-level municipalities (ក្រុង = krong). Provinces are further subdivided into districts (srok), which are further divided into communes (khum). The municipalities are divided into sections (khan), which are further divided into quarters (sangkat).
