Kavanagh is a small hamlet in Alberta, located between Millet and Leduc. Kavanagh is approximately 30 km south of Edmonton, the capital of Alberta. Kavanagh proper has 23 dwellings with a population of 53 people.
The hamlet was settled by workers of the Kavanagh block of CN Rail. The grain elevators have since closed and been relocated. Current council members are: Tim and Kim Rhodes, and Pat and Sarah Gillis.
