Kudos to [[User:Bry456]] for working to get the neighborhood names matched with what's currently in official use by the [http://egov.cityofchicago.org/webportal/COCWebPortal/COC_EDITORIAL/City_Neighborhoods_11x17.pdf city government]. I'm going to restore some of the previous names, as the city shouldn't be taken as the sole source for these names and some of them are still in popular use. I'm starting with St. Ben's, which is still currently in use, as evidenced by [http://www.yelp.com/message_board_search?talk_query=bens&location=Chicago%2C+IL this message board] and [http://www.windycitymediagroup.com/ARTICLE.php?AID=2492 this article]. |
