Abaddon Books are an imprint of Rebellion, who also own 2000 AD, aimed at publishing novels in the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres. The line is edited by Jonathan Oliver, Rebellion's graphic novels editor.

Series

They aim to produce books within different series each with their own unique settings and the current ones are:

  • The Afterblight Chronicles - set in a post-apocalyptic world where a disease has run rampant
  • Pax Britannia - set in a modern steampunk world where the British Empire, and Queen Victoria, still rule the world.
  • Twilight of Kerberos - sword and sorcery tales
  • Tomes of the Dead - zombie stories
  • Dreams of Inan - a fantasy series that concluded with Mike Maddox's The Worm That Wasn't.
  • Sniper Elite - based in the world of the Sniper Elite game

Two forthcoming series were announced in May 2009. These are:

  • No Man's World, written by Pat Kelleher. A group of World War One Tommies are transported to a strange alien planet in a freak accident. There they must learn how to survive in a hostile environment while facing a sinister threat from within their own ranks.
  • An unnamed series concerning international espionage and the supernatural, written by Rebecca Levene. The first book will be called Cold Warriors.
