"Headsprung" was the first single from LL Cool J's eleventh album, The DEFinition. It was released on October 12, 2004 for Def Jam Recordings and was produced and featured by Timbaland, LL Cool J and Eric "NY" Nicks. "Headsprung" was a success on the charts, it peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100, #4 on the Hot Rap Singles and #7 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. Keri Hilson did a cover of this song and features Justin Timberlake, the cover was used as a remix with LL Cool J's 1st verse.
