Hey Johan, just wanted to pop by to thank you for your comments in the peer review of the ITFC article. You may be interested to know it achieved featured article status today. Thanks for your comments and for helping us achieve the article's promotion. Cheers! The Rambling Man 08:19, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
Hey there. Would you have any interest in contributing a suggestion or adding your support to the nomination of Derry City F.C. for featured article status? Cheers. Danny InvincibleTalk|Edits 02:46, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
England B
Hey, I was wandering, what resource are you using for the England B stats. Thanks, Mattythewhite 16:39, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
Hey, I noticed that you changed the name of this article from England National Game XI to England C, do you have a source for this? As far as I'm aware the team is still known as the National Game XI- it is the name currently being used on the FA's website. Cheers. Simon KHFC 13:09, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
James Milner Career section
Not really asking for full feedback on this article (although I wouldn’t mind it). I’d just like to know what you feel the best way the divide up the Career section is, by Club, by season, not at all or some other way. Please leave your reply under the section in my talk page named “Milner Career section”. Buc 16:39, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Herefordunitedoldcrest.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Herefordunitedoldcrest.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 18:37, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Herefordunitedoldcrest.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Herefordunitedoldcrest.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 21:13, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Notability of footballers
Hi, you contributed to the discussion about football notability criteria in November, so you will be delighted/appalled that I have restarted the discussion here. Please give your opinion so that we can move towards formalising the criteria. Regards, King of the NorthEast 15:05, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Sorry
My apologies regarding the match between Hereford and United in 2001. However, I think the reason that the fixture wasn't listed in the yearbook is that it was officially regarded (by Man Utd, anyway) as a Man Utd Reserves or Man Utd XI match, and therefore not a first team game. I'll leave it in the article for now, and feel free to add it to any records of Hereford's 2001 pre-season, but I'm not sure it really should be listed as a Man Utd first team friendly. – PeeJay 12:24, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi, no worries and thanks for the apology. Did exactly the same thing myself on a page recently - easily done. Just one query, the totals on the page for Hereford are one more than soccerbase and I'm not sure why. WikiGull (talk) 19:46, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Just to let you know I think you're overusing {{0}} in the goals column, as it's only needed so the stats line up correctly. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 22:42, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

This the same guy who played for Hereford United in 1989? He would be 37 at the time which isn't too unreasonable for a player of his calibre.
If so I created a decent article on what he got up to before 1980, if not then I guess you'll have to change the List of Hereford United F.C. players so it doesn't link to him (thats how I got here).--EchetusXe (talk) 12:45, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
