The Aberafan Shopping Centre is the only indoor shopping complex in Port Talbot, Wales.
The shopping complex, which has a floorspace of 24,100 m2 (259,000 sq ft) and was refurbished in the late 1990s,[1] comprises over sixty stores on two levels and houses the central library for Port Talbot. Where the library is situated today, there was formerly a market area with stalls operated mainly by local traders. Examples of high-profile stores in the shopping centre include: Wilkinson, Home Bargains, Boots, JD Sports and Superdrug.
