The Pinhel Castle is a Portuguese castle in Pinhel,a city in the Guarda,in central-eastern Portugal.. It has been listed as a Monumento Nacional National monument since 1969.It is one of the most important castles along the Coa river Valley(Terras de Riba-Coa).Located in historic Pinhel,often known as Cidade Falcão(Falcon City) on a hill(overlooking the Coa river and Marofa mountain).
