Ellen Contini-Morava is an anthropological linguist at the University of Virginia, interested in cognitive issues, discourse analysis, and (noun) classification [[1]]; in particular, in systems between lexicon and grammar in size. She received her PhD from Columbia in 1983 under William Diver and Erica Garcia; she specializes in Bantu in general, and Swahili in particular.
